The next step is to setup an Authenticator App on your phone which will provide you with a 6-digit code each time you want to login to the CommonCents Client Hub
This increases the security of your personal information to the highest standards
Scroll down to follow the instructions on how to do this
1. open the commoncents client hub
Enter your email address and password and click ‘Login’ to continue
2. multi-factor authentication (MFA)
You’ll be presented with a screen that looks like this asking you to set up and enable a verification service in an effort to make your private information more secure
3. Find and install a MFA tool
The instructions ask you to install an Authenticator app on your mobile phone
You may already have an authentication app on your phone so feel free to add the CommonCents Client Hub.
If not, read on below
You can do that by visiting the App Store for Apple phones or Google Play for Android phones.
You can choose any of the Authentication apps however our service provider has recommended Google Authenticator so this is what it looks like on the App Store
Once you’ve installed the authenticator app, open it to see a screen similar to this.
Just click ‘get started’ (in the app) to proceed
The Google Authenticator app will ask you if you want to sign in. Signing in does provide the advantage that if you lose your phone then you’ll be able to login to the app on a new phone and your details will have been saved.
If you’d prefer not to log in, you just need to click ‘use authenticator without an account’ and you can proceed. In this case, if you lose your phone you’ll need to follow this process again to set up authentication from the beginning.
4. Adding CommonCents Client Hub to your Authenticator
Now you’re at the stage where you add the CommonCents Client Hub to your new Google Authenticator.
You do this by scanning the QR code using your phone. Start by clicking the ‘Add a code’ as shown.
Your phone’s camera will come up and you can then scan the QR Code that is waiting for you back at your CommonCents Client Hub login screen.
5. Using the Authentication Code to login
Lastly, it’s time to use the 6 digit verification code to complete logging in to the CommonCents Client Hub
Start by finding the latest code from the Authenticator app.
This will refresh every 60 seconds so it can be handy to wait until a new code appears and then you know you have a bit of time to use the code
Back at the CommonCents Client Hub login screen, enter the latest code into the ‘Verification code’ box as shown
You're now logged in securely!
You’ve now accessed the CommonCents Client Hub securely, using two forms of verification being both a password and a personalised authentication code.
If you’re still having problems please contact the office on 1300 376 781 and we’ll be happy to guide you through.
Each time you visit the CommonCents Client Hub you’ll be asked to use your password and your personalised authentication/verification code which means your private information is maintained at the highest levels of security.
Thanks for your patience, whilst it’s been quite a process getting it set up I promise you that it is easier going forward.
